At Gently Aging Home Care, we believe that caring for others extends beyond the services we provide each day. It means supporting organizations that share our commitment to helping individuals and families navigate life’s most important journeys with dignity, comfort, and compassion.
Last week, our team had the privilege of participating in the inaugural Par for Compassion Golf Tournament, benefiting Connecticut Hospice, held at the beautiful Clinton Country Club.
The weather could not have been better, with sunny skies and comfortable temperatures creating the perfect backdrop for a day dedicated to a meaningful cause. As players made their way across the course, there was a shared sense of purpose and community that made the event memorable for everyone involved.
Connecticut Hospice has been a pillar of compassionate care for patients and families throughout the region for decades. Their mission to provide expert hospice and palliative care aligns closely with our own dedication to helping older adults maintain comfort, dignity, and quality of life. Supporting their work was an opportunity we were proud to be part of.
Beyond the golf itself, one of the highlights of the day was connecting with so many wonderful people. We enjoyed meeting fellow community members, healthcare professionals, supporters, and advocates who are all passionate about making a difference in the lives of others. These conversations reminded us how powerful community partnerships can be when organizations come together to support those in need.
We would like to thank Connecticut Hospice for organizing such a successful first tournament and Clinton Country Club for providing an outstanding venue. Most importantly, thank you to everyone who participated, sponsored, volunteered, and contributed to the event’s success.
