Bringing Joy and Connection to Carnival Fun Day

Gently Aging Home Care recently attended a Carnival Fun Day with the residents and staff at the Advanced Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in New Haven!

At Gently Aging Home Care, we believe some of the best moments come from simply spending time together, sharing laughter, and building meaningful connections. Recently, Jennifer attended a Carnival Fun Day with the residents and staff at the Advanced Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in New Haven, and it was a day full of smiles from beginning to end.

Residents enjoyed an afternoon of carnival-style games, music, conversation, and friendly competition. From bean bag tosses and ring toss games to fishing activities and colorful challenges, there was something fun for everyone to enjoy.

Jennifer spent time cheering residents on, sharing conversations, and enjoying all of the excitement alongside them. Watching everyone laugh, participate, and have fun together was a wonderful reminder of how important companionship and community truly are.

As Jennifer shared after the event:

From games and music to laughter and conversation, it was such a beautiful reminder of how meaningful companionship, building connections, and giving back to community can be.”

At Gently Aging Home Care, we know care goes beyond physical support. Social engagement, emotional connection, and moments of happiness all play an important role in overall well-being. Events like these help seniors feel included, connected, and celebrated.

We are so grateful to the staff and residents at the Advanced Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation for welcoming us to be part of such a special day.
